The adventure starts from Cusco where we ride to Abra Malaga, a high mountain pass where you’ll experience breathtaking views of the surrounding Andes Mountains. From there, we head to Santa Teresa, a picturesque town where you can relax in some of the natural hot springs.
We then move to Cocalmayo, nestled deep in the dense rainforest, where you can take in the serenity of the natural surroundings, and unwind in the thermal baths, surrounded by nature.

We travel through the Sacred Valley and over the summit of Abra de Málaga (4315 masl) we leave the Andes and enter subtropical plantations of bananas, mangoes and coffee. The second day we will visit one of the 7 wonders of the modern world: Machu Picchu, where we will visit the citadel accompanied by a specialized guide, in the afternoon we will visit the hot springs of Cocalmayo in Santa Teresa (optional zip line)

Itinerary
Day1: Cusco – Chinchero – Ollantaytambo – Abra Malaga – Santa Maria – Santa Teresa – Aguas Calientes
Description: We leave Cusco towards Chinchero and Ollantaytambo. We head towards the Abra de Málaga (4315 masl) and then descend through the exuberant valley of the Urubamba River to Santa María (1000 masl). From here, there are dirt roads, a few water crossings, and lots of twisty curves. After 40 km we arrive in Santa Teresa where we leave the motorcycle and take a vehicle to the hydroelectric train station where we board the tourist train that will take us to Aguas Calientes where we will rest and prepare for the next day’s journey.

Day 2: Machu Picchu Tour – Santa Teresa
Description: We start the day having a good breakfast at the hotel and we will board the Consettur bus that will take us to the entrance of the citadel of Machu Picchu, where you will meet your guide and begin your cultural tour. You will return to Aguas Calientes where we will then take the tourist train that will return us to Hidroeléctrica and Santa Teresa, where after lunch we will have the afternoon free to do some adventure on the Zipline, and at night relax in the hot springs of Cocalmayo.

Description: We drive to the Ollantaytambo ruins (optional visit) through the same Urubamba River valley, having lunch in Urubamba and then having the option to visit one or two additional archaeological sites in the Sacred Valley along the way. Return to Cusco.
