We kick off our adventure in the captivating city of Cusco, where we’ll immerse ourselves in the history and culture of the ancient Inca civilization. From here, we’ll head to the stunning Sacred Valley, where we’ll discover Inca ruins and venture off-road to incredible places like Sacsayhuamán, Pisac, Maras, Moray, Piuray, Chincheros, Huaypo, and Ollantaytambo.

But that’s just the beginning. Our journey continues to the majestic Machu Picchu Natural Sanctuary, one of the New Seven Wonders of the World, where we’ll explore its ancient ruins and marvel at its unparalleled beauty. ITINERARY INCA CHALLENGE MOTORCYCLE TOUR

Day 1: Cusco – Sacsayhuamán – Pisac – Maras – Moray – Piuray – Chincheros – Huaypo – Ollantaytambo

Inca and Off-Road Adventure: Explore Inca ruins and off-road trails in the Sacred Valley of the Incas.

Description:

Begin your journey in the Sacred Valley of the Incas from the charming city of Cusco, the ancient capital of the Inca Empire. On this thrilling day, you will discover the archaeological wonders of Sacsayhuamán and the ruins of Pisac, immersing yourself in the local culture at its vibrant artisan market.

Next, marvel at the salt terraces of Maras and the agricultural complex of Moray before venturing onto off-road trails towards the picturesque Piuray lagoon. Continuing, you will visit the charming villages of Chincheros and Huaypo, where you’ll experience the daily life of the locals and their ancestral traditions.

Finally, you’ll arrive in Ollantaytambo, an Inca town full of charm, where you’ll spend the night after a day filled with adventures.

Day 2: Ollantaytambo – Abra Málaga – Santa Teresa – Aguas Calientes

Day of Altitude in the Andes and Cloud Forest.

Description: On the second day of your thrilling Inca Challenge motorcycle adventure in the Sacred Valley of the Incas, we will depart from Ollantaytambo towards the stunning mountain pass of Abra Málaga. Here, you will experience the thrill of crossing high altitudes while immersing yourself in the beauty of the cloud forest.

After exploring the heights of Abra Málaga, we will head towards the charming town of Santa Teresa, surrounded by lush vegetation and breathtaking views. Here, you will have the opportunity to relax and enjoy the serenity of the surroundings before continuing our journey towards Aguas Calientes.

Our last stop of the day will be in Aguas Calientes, the picturesque town located at the foot of the majestic citadel of Machu Picchu. To get there, we will take the exciting train from the hydroelectric plant, which offers spectacular views of the surrounding landscape.

Day 3: Machu Picchu – Cocalmayo – Santa Teresa

On the third day of your exciting journey through the Sacred Valley of the Incas, you will immerse yourself in the majesty of Machu Picchu, one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. We will start early with a comprehensive guided tour of this amazing citadel, where you will be fascinated by its history and architecture as you explore its impressive ruins.

After delighting in the grandeur of Machu Picchu, we will head towards the Cocalmayo hot springs, an oasis of relaxation in the midst of nature. Here, you will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the revitalizing natural hot springs, allowing you to rest and recharge after the day at the citadel.

Then, we will continue to the charming town of Santa Teresa, where you can opt for an additional exciting experience: zip-lining. If you are looking for a dose of adventure and adrenaline, this activity is perfect for you and will complement your experience in the Sacred Valley of the Incas in a unique way.

Day 4: Santa Teresa – Andahuaylas

Conquer Andahuaylas and the Chancas roads.

Description: On the fourth day of this Inca challenge, a challenge of skill and strength awaits you in the heart of the Southern Andes: Andahuaylas. We will depart from Santa Teresa towards this impressive region, ready to conquer its Andean heights. Andahuaylas is also the birthplace of the Chanca culture, who were fervent enemies of the Incas.

Andahuaylas offers a spectacular setting for those seeking adventure and personal growth. As we ascend, we will witness impressive and challenging landscapes that invite us to explore the depths of the Andean nature.

This day will be full of physical and emotional challenges, but also of rewarding moments of connection with the majesty of the Andes. Reaching the summit will be more than a physical feat; it will be a personal achievement that you will remember forever.

At the end of the day, we will head to the accommodation to rest and recharge our energies. This will be a moment to reflect on the meaning of overcoming and the natural beauty that surrounds us on this journey through the Southern Andes.

Day 5: Andahuaylas – Karkatera (Devil’s Road) – Villa Los Loros

Day of Resistance – Overcoming the Devil’s Road.

Description: On the fifth day of the Inca challenge, we will face the challenge of the Resistance Test, conquering the legendary Death Road from Andahuaylas to Villa Los Loros. This journey will be a test of our strength and determination as we traverse challenging terrain and breathtaking landscapes.

Our journey will take us along the Devil’s Road, also known as Karkatera, where we will witness landscapes ranging from deep valleys to steep peaks. The Karkatera tunnels will offer us views of various ecological levels, home to a varied flora and fauna.

Along the way, we will contemplate the majesty of the Pachachaca River Basin, with its dry forests and the imposing Chinchay forest of Pacobamba-Andahuaylas. We will see waterfalls cascading into the river, surrounded by lush vegetation including species such as capulí, chachacomo, quishuar, qeuñas, uncas, among others.

Continuing our journey, we will arrive at the community of Ccoya, where we will find a natural viewpoint from which we can admire the impressive Valley and the Pachachaca Canyon. This place becomes even more important with the possible presence of condors, which inhabit the solid rocks of the area.

At the end of the day, we will arrive at Villa Los Loros, where we will settle in to rest and recover from the day. It will be an opportunity to reflect on the strength and beauty of nature that we have experienced on our challenging journey through the Devil’s Road, also known as the Death Road.

Day 6: Villa Los Loros – Soraypampa

Pure air and majestic silence.

Description: On the sixth day of our expedition, we bid farewell to Villa Los Loros and head towards Soraypampa on a journey towards this impressive destination. This day will be marked by exploration and immersion in the natural landscapes of the region as we embark on a journey of discovery and adventure.

Our route will take us through varied landscapes, from green valleys to snow-capped peaks, offering breathtaking views at every turn. Soraypampa, located in the heights of the Andes, is a place of unparalleled natural beauty, where pure air and majestic silence surround us.

During the journey, we will appreciate the unique flora and fauna of the region, as well as the calm and serenity that can only be found in the wild. This day will be an opportunity to connect with our surroundings and enjoy the peace and tranquility offered by the mountains.

Upon reaching Soraypampa, we will settle into our accommodation and prepare for the exciting adventures that await us in the coming days. This will be a time to relax and reflect on the experiences we have had so far.

Day 7: Humantay Lagoon – Cusco

Description: This  day of our Inca challenge tour takes us to contemplate the serenity of the Humantay Lagoon, a hidden gem located at the highest point of the Andes. We will rise early to begin our ascent to this beautiful high-altitude lagoon, where we will witness a spectacular view that will leave us breathless.

The path to the Humantay Lagoon will take us through steep trails and stunning landscapes, offering us the opportunity to immerse ourselves in the natural beauty of the Andes. Once at the lagoon, we will be amazed by its turquoise waters surrounded by imposing snow-capped mountains, creating a truly magical setting.

After enjoying the Humantay Lagoon, we will return to Cusco, where we will take the opportunity to explore some of the routes that we may have missed at the beginning of our journey. This will be a chance to discover new landscapes and experiences before returning to the city.

At the end of the day, we will gather for a farewell dinner, where we will share our experiences and memories of this incredible expedition and all the challenges we have overcome. It will be a time to celebrate our adventures and toast to the unforgettable moments we have shared together in the Andes.
