Vinicunca Rainbow Mountain

We start the tour by picking you up from your hotel between 04:15 and 04:45 in the morning. You will undertake the three-hour trip to the municipality of Cusipata in a comfortable Tourist mobility. Upon arrival, you will enjoy breakfast at the home of a local family. After breakfast, you will go to the starting point of the tour. The path that leads to the “mountain of colors” is about 3 km long and runs through an elevated and flat area. The tour will last approximately 1 hour and a half, depending on your physical condition. Along the way you can admire the panoramic views of the valleys, the Andes and the nearby glaciers, as well as the fauna: wild llamas, alpacas and vicuñas. Once here, if the weather is good, you will enjoy the first views of the mountain of colors. At the summit, you will have the opportunity to rest for a while to catch your breath and admire the spectacular views. After taking some beautiful photos, you will begin the descent to the base, where you will enjoy a delicious lunch. You will then return to Cuzco by private transportation.
